Cellphones and Age
Last night, I was watching a jazz show at a club: three black guys (bass, sax and keyboards) and a white drummer. Towards the end of the night, an older gentleman, who smelled rather musty, asked me where the payphone was. Being a nice guy, I let him borrow my cell, since it was a free call to me and it was 50 cents on a cranky payphone for him. He couldn’t quite figure it out,m and wound up calling a woman I dated a few times and now we’re friends.
Sorta funny. He’s trying to call his wife, and I get to chat with someone I haven’t talked to in months.
